Itinerary

Day 1Trekkers will be picked from Sringar around 2:00pm and travel to Aru base (7,950 feet) by road via. Pahalgam which takes approx. 3 hours - Arrival & Over night stay at tent

Day 2On this day there will be 10 kms of trekking in approx. 6 hours time from Aru (7,950 feet) to Lidderwat (9,150 feet) - Easy terrain, gradual ascent - Water can be refill from streams - Packed lunch on the way - Overnight stay in tents

Day 3On this day there will be 5.5 kms of trekking in approx. 5 hours time from Lidderwat (9,150 feet) to Shekwas (11,000 feet) - Moderate terrain, continuous ascent for first few hours - Enough water sources on the way - One river crossing just before Homwas - Overnight stay in tents

Day 4On this day there will be 5 kms of trekking in approx. 4 hours time from Shekwas (11,000 feet) to Tarsar (12,500 feet) - Moderate terrain, continuous gradual ascent - In the evening explore Tarsar Lake - Hot lunch at camp site - Overnight stay in tents

Day 5On this day there will be 5 kms of trekking in approx. 5 hours time from Tarsar (12,500 feet) to Sundarsar (13,100 feet) - Moderate to difficult terrain - Steep ascent in the beginning till the pass, followed by a descent and then a gradual ascent till Sundarsar camp site - Hot lunch at camp site - Overnight stay in tents

Day 6On this day there will be 9 kms of trekking in approx. 7 hours time from Sundarsar (13,100 feet) to Homwas (11,500 feet) - 50 minute continuous ascent to Marsar ridge - Moderate terrain - Gradual descent all the way to Homwas - Packed lunch on the way - Overnight stay in tents

Day 7On this day there will be 13 kms of trekking in approx. 6 hours time from Homwas (11,500 feet) to Aru (7,950 feet) - Continuous gradual descent till Aru - Easy terrain - Many water streams are available on the way - Packed lunch on the way - Reach Aru in between 2-3 pm & Srinagar by 7-8 pm for night stay

Day 8Check out and Drop to Airport for return journey
